Here is a link to dyslexia in Ireland for those that may be struggling, something that affects 10% of our population

Anybody directly affected by the missing teenager isn’t going to be giving a second thought to what a bot posts.

There’s nothing wrong about the bot. This is just an excuse for some people to try and get rid of the bot because they couldn’t handle being corrected by it.

    4. It gave me a good opportunity to reference and use this jonah hill meme

a ‘person’ corrected my grammar on askIreland yesterday and it literally enraged me, obnoxious behaviour

It’s an annoying grammatical mistake in my opinion. Same as seeing people say something like “I hate when I loose my keys” or “I seen that movie” so I’m a fan of the auto bot

    9. Terrible spelling and horrendous grammar should be called out on a sub based in a country where English is spoken as the main language. There should be a bot reply for everytime some moron says “than” instead of “then” and vice versa. I’m not talking about people with a genuine disability like dyslexia, I’m talking about idiots that refuse to learn and get pissy when you point out their mistakes. They can’t take being criticised so they come up with terms like “grammar nazi”. If you think being corrected on your poor grammar is in any way akin to what the Nazis did to the Jewish population of Europe, then you are just stupid and should accept that. I think its in the spirit of the sub to make fun of stupidity.

    10. I fully agree with you it is tasteless when it jumps in on serious topics like this. Last time I pointed it out i got downvoted a bunch, it seems like many people on Reddit really enjoy being snarky pedants about grammar no matter the topic 🤷
