What? But bots on Reddit keep telling me Reform isn’t racist! Fuck!
Agreeable_Falcon1044 on
That’s six gone for racism, two have died, five quit as they didn’t realise it wasn’t paid, one quit as he thought he was standing for parliament, one was completely made up and, most amazing of all, one was a foreign national without a valid visa.
The worst elements among Reform’s supporters won’t be happy if their party starts consistently holding racists and bigots to account. Some of them are backing Reform because they believe it could eventually make openly abusing minorities more socially and politically acceptable.

Who among us hasn’t felt compelled to quit a new job not even one day in 😂
This is what happens when you don’t vet anyone and just let any riffraff run

All these re-elections required are gonna cost local councils millions.
From the party of “DOGE” and “Saving the public money”.

Linden Kemkaran retweeted similiar stuff to this (when she was a Conservative) and she was made head of Kent County Council.

Am I reading it wrong or did he stand in and win two seats?

So, why didn’t they suspend him before the election?

Reform certainly attracts a certain type, doesn’t it.

More ridiculous than any of this is that they were voted in in the first place 🤦♂️
Is this the one with the video of the reporter(?) reading his tweets and him replying it’s not his account? They then mention that the account has a post with a photo of not only his house on it but also another with his dogs and he still doubles down and says it wasn’t him and he wouldn’t say that kinda thing?

one down already, didn’t take long did it? I do wonder how many we’ll have in a month.
So does this mean a by-election happens?

I find it best to listen to entrance of the gladiators whilst reading these stories.
The big question i have is why people thought they’d have better chances here than they did across the Thames. Genuinely how anyone could look at how poorly run the Reform led councils in Kent have been and still vote for them is a question of the ages.
And the spiel about “oh I’m fed up with the current situation” doesn’t explain how you had 2 other credible options that weren’t Labour or the Tories running and didn’t vote for them, but instead, curiously still voted for the option anyone whose looked at a headline outside of an election period would know is a total fucking trainwreck that will only make things worse because they have no incentive to make things better because their entire thing is reveling in the fractured state of our country and serving up people to blame.
The window repairman isn’t going to do himself out of business by stopping people throwing stones and reform isn’t going to improve anything because then they wouldn’t exist as a going concern.

I’m on the groups for this and the incumbent Conservative councillor who lost to him is in the process of decommissioning everything. She was an active member of the community and (despite me not being politically alone to her) seemed to be doing a decent, well regarded job.
Utter madness that people just ticking a box because of boats.

Interesting how none of these stories have hit the front page of the BBC 🤔

And this is in the first week!

None of this comes as a shock really.
Just reading the [Hope not Hate page on that guy](https://hopenothate.org.uk/2026/05/02/reform-uk-essex-white-supremacist/) and …wow. Scum.

As [Emotional-Ebb8321](https://www.reddit.com/user/Emotional-Ebb8321/) has already referenced in another comment, there’s a new, regularly updated list on [Dr. Mark Pack’s website](https://www.markpack.org.uk/) (Lib Dem Ex-President, Peer, and polling expert) of all the Reform candidates that have left the party since May 7th. He compiled and kept up to date a list of the 73 candidates that had to leave the party/stand down after last May’s elections: [How many councillors has Reform UK lost since May?](https://www.markpack.org.uk/175342/how-many-councillors-has-reform-uk-lost-since-may/)
