Bad news. We need the strong working class, not more parasites.

That would be good news, only if they had to pay 60% income tax, or idk… maybe were prohibited to open “family charities”; or maybe if they paid their workers a living wage (fucking InPost) 👀

I’m sure that won’t coincide with a raising popularity of political parties that just so happen to want to make changes that will only make life better for the ultra wealthy

A really bad news :/ who cares about the riches we should be talking about the average life in the country

Perhaps this is simply related to very wealthy Ukrainians who moved their business from Ukraine to Poland…

The comments here are all very negative, perhaps because of the title, but the article is quite positive. It is not just more ultra-wealthy people but a general increase in wealth in Poland.
*”The number of people in Poland with assets exceeding 4 million zloty ($1.1 million) has doubled in the last decade, from around 50,000 to 100,000, reported the Rzeczpospolita daily last year. Those with assets of more than 400,000 zloty tripled over that period to reach over four million.”*
And a general trend of falling inequality.
*But according to the World Bank,* [*Poland’s Gini index*](https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/SI.POV.GINI?locations=PL)*, a common measure of income inequality, actually fell from around 34.9 in 2003 to 28.5 in 2023, meaning that inequality declined. However, the trend ended in 2019, since when the figure has been stable.*
