The Youtube views for the first semi-final have been out a little over 12 hours but already we are seeing some clear leaders. We take a look at the Youtube views as they stand at 11:40 CEST Wednesday morning.

    Greece and Poland ahead

Unlike last year, the ten qualifiers and two automatic qualifiers make up the top 12 of Youtube views, making up a clear block in our list. Topping it are Greece and Poland, followed by Italy.

It must be noted that Greece and Poland were leading Youtube views of their respective semi-finals last year too, so a part of this advantage is likely structural (Blanka famously had more than a 1.5 million views less than 24h after her semi-final performance back in 2023). Another part will likely be due to popular appeal, and how strong each influence is will become clear on Saturday evening.

Looking at the favourites, Finland is slightly under-performing in terms of ranking, finishing 5th behind the previously mentionned podium and Croatia, though not by much. Could this spell trouble for their televote success? Sweden, although not a favourite anymore, does finish quite low, at only 122k views, under Germany.

Lastly, there is the question of Moldova : well-ranked by both the press poll and the audience poll, it remains under 200k views for now, between Israel and Germany, with Greece having triple its number of views.
