Clear Skies, Scattered Showers Expected, with Daytime Highs around 30 Degrees

    Mostly clear skies are expected nationwide through Thursday, although some regions will see scattered showers.

    Gangwon and North Gyeongsang provinces could see around five millimeters of rainfall Wednesday night, while inland regions in the south are likely to receive between five and 20 millimeters Thursday afternoon.

    Thursday morning lows will range from 12 to 16 degrees Celsius nationwide, similar to or slightly higher than Wednesday’s levels.

    Daytime highs will rise to around 30 degrees in the western part of the country, hitting 31 degrees in Seoul and 30 degrees in Daejeon and Gwangju, while areas on the east coast such as Gangneung will remain near 20 degrees.

    The hot weather is expected to continue for the time being, particularly in the west, where daytime temperatures will hover around 30 degrees.
