Damascus, May.13 (SANA) Syria’s Minister of Public Works and Housing, Mustafa Abdel Razzaq, met with Alnur Shah Huseynov, chargé d’affaires of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Damascus, to discuss ways to bolster bilateral cooperation in the fields of housing and reconstruction, as well as the challenges facing this sector.
During the meeting, held Wednesday, Minister Abdel Razzaq outlined the areas in which the Ministry is currently engaged, the obstacles related to the reconstruction process, and the scale of damage across various provinces.
For his part, the Azerbaijani side presented several successful experiences in Azerbaijan in the fields of housing, infrastructure, and reconstruction, with an emphasis on innovative and sustainable solutions.
The two sides agreed to continue discussions during the upcoming Syrian visit to Azerbaijan to participate in the 13th World Urban Forum.
