Unforgettable Croatia launches 2027 small-ship and themed cruises programmes – Travel Gossip
Unforgettable Croatia has launched its 2027 small-ship cruising programme, as well as new themed cruises and a concierge service that can book guests into upmarket restaurants in ports of call.
The small-ship programme features 12 cruise itineraries and nine cruise-and-land journeys between May and October 2017 across six ships. Each cruise has a maximum of 18 cabins.
Itineraries sail primarily between Split and Dubrovnik, taking in the Dalmatian coast. Calls include ports such as Trogir and Hvar, alongside lesser-known destinations such as Korčula, Vis and the national parks of Mljet and Krka.
For the 2027 season, Unforgettable Croatia has introduced an optional, complimentary Michelin Star add-on for its Signature Cruises.
The operator can book Michelin Star and Bib Gourmand restaurants throughout Croatia to coincide with guests’ sailings, such as Restaurant 360 in Dubrovnik, Pelegrini in Šibenik and LD Restaurant in Korčula. The initiative follows on from its Restaurant Guide, which showcases a selection of the best eateries in the destinations visited.
In addition, Unforgettable Croatia has unveiled two new themed cruises for 2027.
The seven-night ‘Croatia Heritage Cruise’ onboard 36-guest MV Bellissima sails from Šibenik to Dubrovnik, on an itinerary that includes the UNESCO-listed Šibenik Cathedral; Krka National Park, with a visit to a traditional olive mill; a military tour of Cold War tunnels on Vis; an authentic ‘peka’ dinner in Korčula; the salt pans of Ston, including an oyster tasting experience; and a visit to the Konavle Valley, where guests will take part in a silk presentation.
The other option is a seven-night ‘Food and Wine Cruise’ onboard the 36-guest MV Adris. Sailing from Dubrovnik to Split, highlights include a walking tour of Dubrovnik; private oyster tasting experience in Mali Ston; traditional peka dinner in the village of Žrnovo; winery visit in Hvar; a visit to Vis and an olive oil estate in Omiš.
Co-founder Graham Carter said: “These new themed sailings represent a natural evolution of our product, building on our signature small-ship experience while offering guests a more focused way to explore Croatia.
“The ‘Croatia Heritage Cruise’ brings the country’s history and traditions to life through meaningful local interactions, while the ‘Food and Wine Cruise’ celebrates the incredible diversity of Croatian cuisine. Both itineraries have been carefully designed to go beyond the expected and deliver something truly distinctive.”
