The wife of 450 thousand AKP Aksaray Deputy Hüseyin Altınsoy received a poverty certificate in order not to pay the title deed fee in the case.

Allegedly, Serap Altınsoy’s father left all his property to his sons. After the death of the father, the sisters filed a lawsuit to cancel the title deed to assert their rights.

Serap Altınsoy, wife of AKP Aksaray Deputy Hüseyin Altınsoy, received a poverty certificate from the headman’s office in order to avoid paying title deed fees.

In the case filed at the Aksaray 3rd Civil Court of First Instance, the judge found it unlawful to issue a poverty certificate to Altınsoy because her husband was a member of parliament. The judge decided to conduct an investigation into why Taşpazar Neighborhood Headman Menderes Tunç gave the document.

It was noted that the Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation against both the person who gave this document and the wife of the MP who received this document.

Receives a Salary of 450,854 Liras

Hüseyin Altınsoy, who was elected as Aksaray Deputy in the 2023 elections, receives a parliamentary salary of 273 thousand 196 TL as of today. This wage will also be increased in July, in proportion to the annual inflation difference.

It was learned that Altınsoy retired by taking advantage of the EYT law enacted before 2023.

According to the law, MPs are entitled to become “retired MPs” if they complete two years in the Turkish Grand National Assembly and complete their insurance premium days. Altınsoy, who was elected in May 2023, became a retired MP as of May 2025. Altınsoy receives a pension of 177 thousand 658 TL.

Thus, Altınsoy’s monthly income reached at least 450 thousand 854 TL.
