Candidate for the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Darijana Filipović (HDZ) spoke at a forum organized in Zagreb by the HDZ Founders’ Association, during which she said that Croats are responding to the injustice they are facing with a third entity.

Filipović, as reported by HMS, was referring to the idea of a third entity, or rather, proposals to divide the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina into two territorial units.

Although she stated that the third entity was not “the primary focus of political deliberation,” she said that such models were discussed during the negotiations on the Washington and Dayton Agreements and that the idea is still very much alive and current in circles close to the HDZ.

“If this attitude towards Croats continues, the third entity remains one of the models or deliberations with which the Croatian people are trying to respond to the injustice they are facing,” she said.
The HDZ candidate for the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina said that this idea is being “satanized in Sarajevo” and that the goal is “to suppress Croat voices.”

“This is definitely an attempt to stop the political deliberations of the Croat people on how to eliminate inequality, because in that case it would be necessary to admit that injustice actually exists,” Filipović said.
She also commented on the other candidates in the fight for a seat in the Presidency of BiH, namely Slaven Kovačević (DF) and Zdenko Lučić (Petorka).

She said that Kovačević was running for the Croat representative and was seeking the votes of the Bosniak electorate, while she said that Lučić had the right to run, but that one must “watch out for the electoral mathematics.”

“Every additional candidate for the Croat member of the Presidency reduces the chance for Croats to elect their legitimate representative,” said Darijana Filipović in Zagreb, Klix.ba writes.
