Tulua launch their new album In The Snug in Wexford Arts Centre on 28th June as part of a nationwide summer tour.
One of the most exciting young bands in contemporary Irish traditional music, Tulua combine a fresh, energetic sound with deep roots in the tradition. Drawing inspiration from local songs, tunes and sessions around Ireland, their music blends strong instrumental playing with rich arrangements and storytelling.
In The Snug grew from long evenings of tunes, songs and shared ideas played by the fire and in session corners. Mixing old tunes and songs with newer compositions, the album captures the warmth, lift and connection that comes from playing music together.
Since releasing their debut album in 2023, Tulua have toured extensively worldwide, appearing at festivals including Milwaukee Irish Fest (USA), Festival Interceltique de Lorient (France) and National Celtic Folk Festival (France). With a busy 2026 ahead, Tulua are set to perform at various Irish festivals this summer and will be touring internationally later in the year.
Band members: Kayleigh Moran (fiddle/vocals), Diarmuid Murphy (flute), Cian O’Grady (guitar) and Ella McGrory (piano).
