      America is going to take a sledgehammer to the memory of Donald J Trump when he’s gone.

      All those National Park passes, US passports, coins, and other shit with his face on them are going to be treated like Hitler/Nazi memorabilia was after WWII.

      A museum is supposed to be a collection of facts and history, a place to preserve knowledge. If political pressure is enough to convince it to change the facts, to change history, then what good is it as a museum?

      Any future visit to a Smithsonian museum should come with the adendum that their version of the truth is only as true as the people in charge want it to be.

      It’s also worth pointing out that while the impeachments are back, the reasons for the impeachments are not. The language has been changed to make them less important.

      I’ve said this before. More people should do this when pressured by Trump to do something. Just do it, then when he moves on to something else, reverse it. He’ll forget about it.

      DJT’s lies remain a stain on the Smithsonian’s integrity as a source, and one that the public can easily identify as false.

      (Not that anyone will be visiting. After all, DJT’s theft of the whole world’s gas money is certain to keep the Smithsonian empty for the foreseeable future.)

      Museums don’t do things. People do. What is the name of the person responsible for removing it in the first place? No one will be accountable for these crimes in the future if we keep abstracting away their identities behind organizations and agencies.
