The third event of the festival, with a $30,000 buy-in, saw an impressive turnout with 133 entries. The massive $3,990,000 prize pool promised nearly a million-dollar reward for the winner. The final heads-up showdown featured two official Triton ambassadors, Mario Mosböck and Danny Tang.
The final table stretched over 10 hours, full of twists and turns as the lead kept shifting. The last four players showcased a thrilling battle, waiting over an hour and a half for the next elimination despite numerous all-in situations.
Tang entered the final duel with a lead. However, Mosböck managed to make a comeback, and in the tournament’s dramatic final hand, his T s T h stood against Tang’s Q c 6 s. Although the flop showed J c Q s 4 c for Tang, the turn 9 s and river 8 h completed Mosböck’s straight, sealing his fourth Triton series title.

Kristen Foxen’s fourth place is also noteworthy. While still seeking her first Triton title, her $343,000 win pushes her Triton earnings over $5 million, placing her as the top-earning woman in Triton history.

Zlotnikov’s Killer Instinct
The second event of the series, with a $25,000 entry fee, attracted 119 entries, creating a $2,975,000 prize pool. The day’s star was Russian pro Anatoly Zlotnikov, who claimed the top spot, pocketing $715,000 and securing his second Triton trophy. Jokingly, he quipped he was ready to “take out” all poker assassins in the field, referring to the Triton Assassins nickname for the series elite.
The tournament will forever be etched in viewers’ minds due to a brutal “runner-runner” knockout at the final table. Popular vlogger Ethan “Rampage” Yau held A s K h for top pair on the flop K c Q d J s, but Zlotnikov’s A c 4 c hit a miraculous runner-runner with 4 d on the turn and 4 h on the river. This moment knocked Yau out in 8th place and catapulted the Russian to victory.
In heads-up play, Zlotnikov overcame Tunisian Maher Nouira, clinching the title by completing a straight against his opponent’s top pair.
