According to the documents to be voted on, consulted today by Lusa, the municipality received seven proposals in the public tender launched in March, and the winning proposal, submitted by Eurest, has a unit price of €2.47 per complete meal.
The contract value is €798,985 excluding VAT and will have a term of 365 days.
The tender was launched to find a new provider for this service, as the current contract ends on 16 July.
These meals are served within the Solidarity Restaurants Network, which registers an average daily influx of 550 people and operates 365 days a year.
In Porto, three of these restaurants are currently operating: Beco de Passos Manuel, the Joaquim Urbano Temporary Shelter Centre, and Casa Mãe Clara (Boavista).
