The Minister for Digital Transformation and Public Administration, Óscar López, signed a memorandum of understanding this Thursday in Barcelona with his Andorran counterpart, Marc Rosell, to strengthen collaboration on digital transformation, especially in the public sector.
The agreement provides for the deployment of digital administration and e-government and includes the exchange of best practices related to identity and personal digital management (with special attention to digital certificates, digital wallets, and electronic signatures) and collaboration on cybersecurity and privacy in digital environments, according to the Ministry.
Other areas of cooperation included in the document are data management and interoperability, and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), including the use of the ALIA public infrastructure. It also includes a digital health strategy (to promote the development of digital health services), the digitization of the business fabric, innovation and technological entrepreneurship focused on strategic government lines and sectors, and the optimization and efficiency in the digital ecosystem of digital transactions and payments in the public, private and citizen spheres.
