      Hey, let’s participate in PR propaganda campaigns!

      It’s bad enough to give a shit about this sort of thing, but to engage with this system of paid PR smear campaigns is really low.

      Some celebrities are dicks, some aren’t.  What the press reports about that is solely a product of whose interests they are serving.

      Don’t let them fool you into thinking any of this matters to you.

      Maybe showering people with money and promoting them to the highest echelons of society simply because their genes made them pretty / handsome isn’t such a good idea, then.

      Like, I get it. Human nature. But a least in most other countries these sorts are both pretty AND a stellar singer. Or are Handsome AND a decent actor. Something that gives them value outside of their looks.

      Here, I have the same 5 or so women and 5 or so men looking down from billboards whatever, everywhere I go. I don’t give a shit about them, and I don’t get why anyone else would either. It’s wild seeing one commercial after the other with the same people in them.

      I get that this story is being reported elsewhere, but I shake my head every time someone shares an article from *Nikkan Gendai*. It is hardly the most objective news source, given its highly sensationalist reporting. Its takes on politics are particularly moronic and malicious. Enough with this pseudo-intellectual nonsense.

      she made my part of Japan look like total crap with Omusubi so I’ll never forgive her for that.

      Apparently she actually did grow up here which makes it even more absurd that none of the best assets of Itoshima were shown on the show. Just crappy Ikisan station and the ugly docks that nobody uses.
