    6. If you’re in the US, the law for hacking includes attempted attacks. Not saying someone will come after you, but of they did…

    7. Would you even be able to keep it legally? Would it be considered theft? Have laws even been written about it?

    8. What if you actually find the key – will your website publish it as success or will it be hidden?

      I have something like this on my home cluster, I made a golang image that generates a key and tries it against the top 10k btc holding wallets and just does this forever.
      It’s like a mini lottery ticket I check the logs every so often just to see if I’m a winner.
      Much cheaper than the actual lottery.
