      Everybody is panicking over Hantavirus when the WHO says there is no reason to worry. Then there is this Ebola outbreak that the WHO has rated the same danger level as they rated Covid, and it’s not making the front page rounds. Ebola is far scarier. It wasn’t that long ago the world narrowly avoided an Ebola pandemic.

      Seems like the US had a group in place, a type of task force, that would handle these types of things to make sure it didn’t turn into a global disaster. Who knows? Maybe I’m misrembering something.

      I have vague memories of when something like this happened under the Obama administration. They quarantined the individuals and no outbreak happened. It was handled very well. Despite this, Trump lambasted Obama for a “terrible job” in allowing *any* American to get Ebola or something along those lines.

      Kind of curious to see how this ends up. Will Trump -snk- manage to -snk- do a better job than Obama? XD HAHA No, no. I’m counting the days to another pandemic like Covid. I just don’t think any cruise petri dish outbreak will be it since those are a dime a dozen.

      Honestly, maybe it would be a good thing if each country had a “resort” owned and operated by them just to hold citizens who get deadly viruses there. They can go on holiday and hopefully not cry that their human right of being able to infect everyone else by immediately getting a flight is being infringed on, and we hopefully get to contain viruses.

      I can’t tell you how hard it was to get people to keep their masks on in the ambulance during Covid. If Ebola ever becomes a thing your front line workers will be dead before the rest of you all.

      I recently finished reading “Pandemic” by A.G. Riddle right before news of this outbreak came about. It’s a great read, but given the state of the world hits a little too close to home.
      *** Spoiler alert ***
      In the book – a vaccine for this strain of Ebola, which took the lives of tens of millions – was engineered and available. Problem being, it was only released to countries who bent the knee and relinquished power to the “new world order”. This was a plan created by the power-hungry-techno-billionaires (i.e. Epstein class) to consolidate governmental power and control the world once and for all.

      Anywho. It’s a great book but fuck, Ebola under normal circumstances is terrifying. Under current circumstances? Fiction might end up becoming non-fiction real quick.
