      If you haven’t been paying attention to the war recently, Ukraine has completely turned the tide and it’s getting harder for Russia to keep denying it with each passing day.

      Russia’s air defence is being destroyed much faster than it can be replaced and important targets are dropping like flies as a result.

      I only fear what Putin will do, because it’s starting to get ugly, and a draft by most accounts won’t change anything against Ukraines complete drone dominance atm.

      I’m pretty sure he doesn’t regret invading Ukraine because he’s had plenty of opportunities to turn tail and go home.

      The only thing he regrets is not winning immediately like he thought he should.

      I think it’s more like Putin regretted the timing of the invasion.

      If only he has waited until Trump became president… Ukraine might be a very very different situation today.

      more like he regrets that invasion was so poorly prepared and that he now cannot back out of it without losing face, and he would not only lose face, but he would probably get overthrowed and maybe killed and his entire oligarch empire would crumble, in worst case scenario even a civil war in Russia is possible because of so many parties who would fight over power after him being gone especially if he ends up accused of threason or something like this and killed/jailed, that’s why he keeps this war going, because it’s the only thing that’s still keeping him, his family and friends in power.

      The only reason why this dictator started this war in the first place was because he was losing the russian people in 2021 and that a prosperous democratic Ukraine would threaten his position as a dictator.
