Former Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu, through a post on “Facebook” has reacted to this Monday’s protest held by Albanian students in North Macedonia. Vengu writes that Albanian students showed that language does not require permission.

He emphasized that this time the protest had even more support from students from Tirana but also from all Albanians. Vengu writes, among other things, that these peaceful protests are the voice of a fundamental right, far from tensions that, according to him, have no place in good neighborliness.

“Albanian students in North Macedonia showed once again that “language does not ask for permission”. This time more numerous, more energetic and with the support of students from Tirana and all of Albania. Even when someone thinks they can stop students with bureaucratic obstacles, the energy of a just cause always finds its way.

A European example in the heart of Skopje of how peaceful and civic protest can become the voice of a fundamental right, far from tensions that have no place in the good neighborliness where we aim to live together. Right yesterday, right today and stronger every day, until its victory. Always with you”, writes Vengu.
