Spectrum News will host a live debate on Thursday, May 21, featuring three Democratic candidates in the June primary vying for the New York state comptroller.

    The candidates who will participate in the debate are incumbent Thomas DiNapoli, Raj Goyle and Drew Warshaw.

    DiNapoli has held the seat since 2007.

    The debate starts at 7 p.m., and will be hosted by political anchors Errol Louis and Susan Arbetter. 

    Viewers will also be able to watch for free on Spectrum News’ digital platforms, including YouTube.

    How to watch

    Spectrum News will open its website and app for viewers to watch the debate for free. For Spectrum nonsubscribers, download the Spectrum News app, available to Android and iPhone users, then tap “Live” on the menu bar at the bottom of the screen to view the debate.

    In addition to watching the debate on the Spectrum News app, viewers can also tune in on the Spectrum News website by clicking here. Click on the “Open Access” link, which will appear shortly before the debate begins.

    Early voting starts on Saturday, June 13, and Election Day is Tuesday, June 23.
