How the hell much are people on X that 200 replies and 50 posts in a day is a “significant” restriction? Touch grass people.

Whew, dodged a bullet there. I’m glad the new cap won’t impact my 0 posts and 0 replies per day.

The twitter bags are going to be offloaded onto retail investors when space-x goes public

I have never made 50 posts or 200 comments in a single day on any social media platform in my entire life. How is this a problem

    5. I thought he was just going to ban all the bots. Easy as that.

But damn, I can only change my email account… 4 times per hour?

    6. Functionally speaking, this will never actually affect normal people. Only bots and the chronically online would ever even notice this.

This is a grift to make bot farms create more accounts. Going to create a boom in new “users”.

Let me guess, freeing up compute for AI and covering it up as anti-bot measures?

Saw they recently did a spaceX deal with anthropic for compute and we all know Elon loves to commingle company assets

I suppose this is about good as time as any to suggest switching to Mastodon

Question from a “non-x” user: Do people seriously post more than 50x and comment more than 200x per day? People do that??!!

    11. Stan accounts, sex models, and gimmicky one-trick profiles across the net are weeping right now.

Who in the hell has the time to post and reply that much in a day? Also, if you’re still on X, you’re propping up a pscyhopath.

    13. Just shut it down already! Twitter only serves as a Musk soapbox. We can do better.

    14. Proof_Dependent_4415 on

If that’s limiting you should probably stop using twitter for a while.

For someone that claims to be all about free speech, this is quite the contrary. Just wait until those twitter accounts start getting banned. Oh, wait.

Btw, I’m still calling it twitter. The current name is just dumb.
