I visited my parent's house and found the river access blocked by fallen trees. A half hour with a very dull bucksaw cleared the path. Rewarded by beautiful views of the river. (Just need the lumberjack shirt!)

More like follow that river to a good deep bend and cast some lines time
Done that many times in younger years. Though often more mosquito bites than trout bites 😅.

Clearing trails is very satisfying work. I was doing some last summer in a patch of woods that was very overgrown and perhaps never had a trail. It was very satisfying to see the before and after of cutting into thick walls of overgrowth and fallen trees blocking the way.
