Yesterday Sim was promising everybody free swimming lessons. He’s desperately flailing, just throwing anything to the wall in hopes it’ll stick. He knows he’s getting turfed out in this fall election and that even Chip Wilson finds him too embarrassing to associate with at this point (though Wilson’s also currently busy, given that he’s deeply embroiled in a petty slap fight with Lululemon)
Sim and ABC repealed a ban on burning gas for space and water heating in new buildings under the guise of affordabilty and increasing housing supply while in the very next motion they along with now indepedent councillor and mayoral hopeful Rebecca Bligh, supported a review of the city’s multiplex plan that will weaken in and reduce the number of new homes that get built.
ABC catered to Fortis BC and natural gas lobbiest on the first motion and then pandered to west wide NIMBYs on the second. Literally speaking out of both sides of their mouths.
I’m so disgusted by Sim.
He needs to be ousted from the city, barred from the province, and tossed somewhere in the south Pacific with a bacon lifejacket after having all his assets stripped from him and being repurposed for supportive housing.
