Light Rain Expected Saturday, with Clear and Warmer Weather Sunday

    Light rain of less than five millimeters is expected for most parts of the nation Saturday, from the morning into the afternoon.

    Fog and drizzle are likely in the mountainous areas of Gangwon Province in the morning, making it necessary to exercise caution on the roads.

    Saturday morning lows will range from ten to 16 degrees Celsius nationwide, while daytime highs will reach 18 to 24 degrees, about two to four degrees lower than Friday’s. 

    In Seoul, morning temperatures will dip to around 15 degrees before the weather warms up to 23 degrees in the afternoon.

    Mostly clear skies are expected on Sunday, Buddha’s Birthday, while clouds will gradually increase nationwide on the substitute holiday Monday, with rain expected on Jeju Island during the day and in the Jeolla region and South Gyeongsang Province later at night.

    Daytime temperatures will gradually rise, exceeding 25 degrees in most areas on Sunday and approaching 30 degrees in many regions on Monday.
