MAGA are so suddenly shocked we hate them back — Many MAGAs are upset and frustrated that their friends and family have broken off contact with them. They think this is a petty overreaction. They think this is taking politics “too personally” and “too far.”

I told my elderly MAGA mother that she needed to walk the path of hate and violence alone. God bless, good luck and good riddance. It’s too bad for her because I’m her only child.
That’s because they’re emotionally immature losers with all the self awareness of a pet rock. MAGA is what happens when arrested development becomes a personality and then a personality cult. Getting cut off is probably the first time they realized other people were real, and had thoughts and hopes and desires… just like they do. And guess what? they didn’t like it.
The “Fuck Your Feelings!” crowd sure loves to cry about hurt feelings.
Just remember that the opposite of love isn’t hate but indifference.

The fact is that support for trump and human decency are mutually exclusive traits.
It isn’t that I hate people lacking decency, I just don’t want to be around then and don’t want my kids around them. If that’s hate then I hate hem.
It’s a game of chicken, as all relationships kind of are. If the MAGA person in your life is always spouting offensive combative shit, and you are always ultimately continuing to have a relationship with them, they are getting the message that you accept their behavior. Even if you’ve argued or pushed back, ultimately, you’ve not walked away. When someone does walk away, the MAGA persons reaction is STILL to be combative: “why are you acting this way? You’re overreacting”. In the little dance that you do together, you did a new move, and they did their old move. They will continue to try to get you to go back to the old moves (accepting them and their behavior). Don’t go back. Show them their behavior is unacceptable.
They know exactly who they voted for. This administration is blatantly showing how corrupt, evil, and stupid they truly are.
They would rather harm others. Now that a lot of MAGA people are suffering they want sympathy. They will get none for me. Make stupid decisions, win stupid prizes.

I’ve cut ties with a lot of people way before MAGA. If their views on basic human decency, compassion and mutual respect don’t align with mine, they’re de*d to me. Pretty simple really.

I’m removed several people from my life. I’m fine. They lament.
Uh yeah, my MAGA relatives don’t actually subscribe to Trump’s social media, and only watch Fox or Newsmax. They think anything that goes wrong in their lives is either Biden ‘s or Obama’s fault. I’ve tried to show them things that Trump has actually posted online and they won’t believe it.
if you have a friend or relative or anyone who dismisses rape and pedos….well I think it’s common sense to not let them in your life. that would be like accepting an invite from jeffrey dahmer to have dinner at his house.

To them, they’ve been called Nazis and worse by the left because they want heteronormative nuclear families and Christianity to be legally codified somehow, but they say that’s just reality and our “cultural heritage.” They aren’t racist because they want a truly colorblind society where race isn’t discussed at all. During Covid they were subjected to employment loss and ostracization during the “unconstitutional lockdowns and vaccination mandates.”
Now it’s “their turn,” and they think because they stuck it out and kept contact and kept on loving when the shoe was on the other foot, the “other side” should do the same. They are forever mistaking their persecution complexes for actual persecution, and forever mistaking moral differences for “political differences.”
I love their argument that cutting off contact with them is cancel culture. They vote for politicians who are taking voting rights away from people…that’s cancel culture. They vote for people that call for violence against Americans for being democrats,lgbt, black,etc…that’s cancel culture. They vote for a party that has added trillions in debt to give to a small number of super rich Nazis leaving everyone else with massive inflation, job losses, and low wages…that’s cancel culture. Me not wanting to talk to them, or do business with them isn’t cancel culture it’s consequences.
