On 21 May 2026, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to Georgia, Niluka Kadurugamuwa, presented a copy of his letters of credence to the Director of the Diplomatic Protocol Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Zurab Darchiashvili.
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the relations between the two countries and the prospects for further strengthening cooperation.
Zurab Darchiashvili extended his best wishes to Niluka Kadurugamuwa for success in her future activities.
