Greece, N.Y. — Several roads in Greece will remain closed for several hours due to a large house fire on Bancroft Drive.
Six people, including children, were inside the home when the fire broke out, according to Chief Stephen Andrews of the Barnard Fire District. Three were rescued through windows and a stairwell by firefighters and were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where they are in critical condition.
All three floors of the house were engulfed in flames, and has been declared a total loss.
