Submission Statement:
The thing is it’s not entirely about Taiwan, as India’s next door neighbor Myanmar will be the subsequent topic of discussion in China’s dominance. The article talks about Rubio and his visit to India- how to improve regional security and QUAD stability (India, Japan, Australia, and the US) as well as its strategic limbo.
It does not mention ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations), we can only hope Rubio doesn’t sideline them.
Nope. QUAD is as good as dead. US and India relations are at a 3-decade low, and Australia doesn’t seem too keen to contain China anymore. India is slowly repairing its relationship with China and Japan is re-evaluating its pro-US tilt. All of this has made the QUAD quite irrelevant, to be honest. I’m surprised they’re actually going ahead with this QUAD foreign ministers meet.
