    1. Great video and channel!

I have about 12 years of experience of traveling with Polish trains and the transformation is awe inspiring.

From the old, slow passenger trains with very warm cabins to AC cooled nicely designed Intercity trains. Almost empty trains in “first class” to people buying standing tickets.

Poland really has stepped up the rail game.

    2. I live close to one of the stations near the border. In fact its the last one in Poland before the train goes international. Last time i took it (Warsaw-bound) the train didnt arrive, instead a bus came in and collected everyone. Time before that – there was 1 hour delay. A few months prior i almost had an accident – they were maneuvering some carts and had to back the train out then roll into another lane, this involved rolling past the crossing, where cars go. The train didnt have its lights turned on, it was already dark outside. Almost got hit by a train, luckily i always double check before corssing train tracks.

EDIT: just bought a return ticket. They did not let me pick a seat, even said they cant guarantee there will be one. Thats ridiculous.
