    1. Not surprising. The people I speak to (middle and upper middle class) are generally very happy with how things are going.

We have a prime minister who is laser focused on the economy as you would expect from a world renowned economist. The stock market is skyrocketing. The minor rise in gas prices doesn’t really affect anyone other than the very poor.

While I disagree with Carney cause he’s not progressive enough, I understand why he’s popular. Now watching this poll broke /r/Canada is ay too funny. I thought JT broke them, but MC just does it on a whole other level

Its been crazy to watch just how disconnected the further left is , Trudeau and Singh made them feel like they were the majority .

The NDP has pretty much been scalped down to the green party of former .

Optimism about Canada is highest among older Canadians, Atlantic Canadians, British Columbians, and Liberal voters. A majority of those aged 60 and over (57%) believe the country is headed in the right direction, compared with 40% of those aged 30 to 44.

      Sort of explain things

Young people arent very happy right now but as pp flopping lately carney has their backing for now.

    5. On the issues front, the Liberals now lead even on affordability. The CPC really is in the woods right now if that’s the case. Perhaps that’s why Poilievre reverted to his regular red-meat for the base messaging. They are in protect the base mode maybe to prevent a losing them to the PPC when they’ve lost the moderate conservatives to the LPC for now? Hold up the base, wait for the Liberal and Carney to inevitably lose some support as the reality of how long it takes to truly get big projects going sinks in?
