Takaichi Administration Approval Rating at 50%—Lowest Since Taking Office (Mainichi Shimbun Poll)

　The Mainichi Shimbun conducted a nationwide public opinion poll on the 23rd and 24th. The approval rating for the Takaichi Administration stood at 50%, down 3 percentage points from the previous survey conducted on April 18 and 19 (53%). This marks the third consecutive month of decline and the second consecutive month that the rating has hit a new low since the administration took office. The disapproval rating remained unchanged from the previous survey at 33%.
