The concert of the Russian singer Slava (Anastasia Slanevskaya) in Germany was canceled due to visa cancellation, presumably because of her statements in support of the course of the president of Russia. This was announced by the director of the performer Nikolai Makarov.

“Today it was planned to perform in Germany at a fair for the Russian-speaking diaspora. It did not take place due to the refusal of a visa. Schengen was processed through the Spanish visa application center and was approved. But two days ago, the visa was canceled, as we understand, allegedly because of the artist’s statements in support of the course of the president of Russia. Officially, no one has informed us about the reasons for the cancellation,” he told RIA Novosti.

Makarov is sure that this decision is politically motivated, and therefore it simply does not make sense to comment on it.

“The artist only wanted to perform for foreign compatriots, once again to support and bring our Russian culture and language to Germany, and not just go to Europe for entertainment,” he explained.

The director of the singer recalled that Slava has repeatedly had successful concerts abroad, including tours in Germany, there were no problems.

“But this time, alas, the meeting did not take place. We hope that in the future bureaucratic formalities will not become an obstacle to meeting the audience with the artist,” he concluded.

As reported by EADaily, in March of this year, the concert of Glory in Penza ended with a scandal. According to one of the spectators, “the tired singer came on stage, barely sang under the plywood, and then left altogether.”

Many people in the hall were shouting: “Return the money.” One of the fans came right up to the stage and demanded to return the money spent on the ticket.

Later, the Office of Rospotrebnadzor for Penza region called on the concert audience to join the class action lawsuit against the organizer of the concert “Glory. Anniversary tour 25 years on stage.” The press service of the department noted that the department received “numerous appeals from citizens for the quality of the spectacular event of the famous performer, held on March 1, 2026 in the Penza concert hall.

The singer herself accused an unnamed colleague of a scandal with the audience, allegedly it was found out by law enforcement agencies.

At the same time, Slava does not know whether criminal prosecution awaits her offender, but she assured that the artist behind the “provocation” would be “very bad.”
