This is the last Torvalds reaming that made the news for a “pointless” pull request that I can recall. There have been plenty of others.
Edit: but I’m curious what “more hard nosed” looks like
We know the world is upside down when Torvald is the one being nice and almost sound understanding 🙂
Had this been 15 years ago I could see create a new platform to make sharing code easier and put in stops to stop the AI requests 🙂
I mean ya ain’t got time to pick every booger, makes sense to only focus on the hard ones.
