With the victory, Mršić secured the right to represent Croatia at the global Miss Universe competition, which will take place in Puerto Rico this November.

Mršić graduated in Sports Management and Sports Activities Management from Libertas University in Zagreb and currently works in the field for a basketball club.

She said that completing her studies in an area she is passionate about, while simultaneously pursuing sport, is among her proudest achievements.

She highlighted discipline, teamwork and perseverance as values she developed through education and sport. Her interests include fitness, running, recreational volleyball, travelling and learning about different cultures.

As Miss Universe Croatia, Mršić said she hopes to focus on projects encouraging children and young people to participate in sport, particularly those who do not have equal opportunities.

She said she believes sport can have a positive impact on personal development and confidence.

Monika Vojvodić from Zadar was named first runner-up, while Laura Vujica, also from Zadar, finished as second runner-up. Beata Šimat from Murter was named third runner-up and Magdalena Fofić from Sesvete fourth runner-up.

The contestants themselves selected Magdalena Kovačić from Karlovac as the winner of the Miss Congeniality title.
