      Karelia under the Finns was a beautiful place. This is what these sick headed russian people do, they take over territory and turn it into a shithole. This is why the Ukrainians are fighting so hard for their land. When will the world wake up and finally punish russians once and for all. They don’t deserve to rule anything. Every piece of land they have should be taken from them.

      Finlands eastern border has the worlds biggest economical difference. There’s pretty much huge poverty on eastern side and nordic living on western side. It’s wild thing

      Interesting area. So it used to be part of both Finland, then the USSR. Now it is mostly Russia? It doesn’t look in very good shape from any of the pictures or satellite maps I viewed.
