Boost! I would foster them but I have an old labrador who is gentle, sweet and polite to humans only. her age has taken her patience for other dogs

Arg! I have two female dogs that sound a lot like this. Can’t risk more females as this can be terrible.
My girls likely better “behaved” alone however much happier and more confident in their pairing. Depressed when separated, they act like half a dog if that makes any sense. When together they are 3+ dogs full of activity, interaction, communication.
If I didn’t have a geriatric 16yr old lab I would take these two girls even just for a few nights to try and help. Commenting and bumping so that they hopefully get the care they need.
