An inaugural Flow Symposium from May 3 to 6 welcomed 700 attendees to the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn., including engineers, contractors, builders, developers and executives, representing the commercial, industrial, infrastructure and residential markets.
The first flagship industry event to be hosted by both GF Building Flow Solutions (home to the Uponor brand) and GF Industry and Infrastructure Flow Solutions offered a mix of keynote presentations, nearly 40 breakout sessions and a product showcase.
Topics included high-performance piping, water treatment for AI data centres and semiconductor chip fabrication, the economy, energy, megaproject construction, off-site prefabrication and skilled labour shortages.
“Construction leaders are managing complex projects with fewer resources,” said Chris Hartwick, GF Building Flow Solutions Americas’ general manager (GM) for Canada. “The symposium reinforced the power of connection and offered proven real-world examples of how success can be driven with the right products and solutions.”
