TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Tally Cat Cafe is celebrating two special milestones! Tuesday is their eighth anniversary in business, and they are just a few adoptions short of having 2,000 adopted cats.
Tally Cat Cafe partners with Leon County Humane Society as a foster home. People can socialize with cats while sipping on coffee for fun or to look for a new pet.
The cafe is posting updates on their Facebook page as they get closer to the major milestone!
Tally Cat Cafe owner Courtney Kenrick says community support has kept them going.
“It means so much, I mean, we survived COVID, we’ve survived some pretty dry spells here in town,” Kendrick says. “We definitely have our regulars that we rely on and see frequently, but we would love to see some more regulars coming in, that would be awesome.”
To celebrate the two milestones, the cafe has a prize wheel that visitors can spin when they visit.
More good news:
Kendrick also says they have brought back the fan favorite cat yoga every other Wednesday.
