Will it be enforced though? We had so many flouting Covid restrictions.
Ebola is arguably more lethal than Covid, hopefully not nearly as contagious.
I wonder how much of the spread was allowed because there’s no more USAID and much of the communications came from US orgs or at least US funded orgs

So we are asking them nicely to self isolate, and also an average of about 350 people arrive in Canada per week from these areas, and we have the world cup matches coming up.
This is such a recipe for disaster, I look forward to being able to work from home again when Ebola hits the fan.

I have no idea what is going on behind their reasoning for not having a travel ban on these countries, at least temporarily. The fact that they trust these people will isolate is just silly to me. Most of these people come here for jobs and how do they have the resources to isolate for 21 days and just by pure freedom of will they will not isolate.
Have they not learned from Covid? Subway, buses and even any public spaces are enclosed spaces. I’ve seen so many people on the subway sneezing and coughing hard into their hands (not arms) and just rub it everywhere on the handles. People were coughing at me without covering like no big deal.

Why are people traveling to and from there? Maybe hard stop until shits under control.
So US and Mexico ban arrivals from effected regions but Canada doesn’t? Make it make sense.
