Hello neighbors. Me and the lady is going on a roadtrip this summer, and would love some suggestions on things not to miss. We’ve got 4 nights to spend, two of which is already booked in nissedal around the big lake. So anything along the route or within a few hours driving distance from nissedal. We love nature and expansive views, cool experiences,, hikes and good food 🙂 Thank you for reading

Rjukan is interesting
The curch of Heddal as well
Come on man, bring us some beer from your cheap country
Rjukan, Rauland, Åmot, Dalen. You can even hike to the top of Gaustadtoppen from Rjukan or take the mountain train or whatever its called.

You can check out Dalen and Rui, Telemark.
If you like hiking, check out Lårdalsstigen. It is an amazing hike from Dalen-Lårdal, then you take the roughly 200 yr old canal boat from Lårdal-Dalen.
Book the Soria Moria sauna and sleep at Dalen Hotel (pricey but unique)
Ravnejuv is a fantastic view with a rich history. 500 meter walk from the parking
Tuddal is very nice and can be combined with Rjukan and maybe the Gaustatoppen hike. Tuddal høyfjellshotell is very charming and has great food.
I live in Tønsberg, Norways oldest town.
The route you have along the coast is kinda boring, just highways. If you take that route, keep in mind that there won’t be spectacular views.
