Hi all, I’m booked for the ICE 9590 to Paris in July but got the above email about a timetable change. This was misleading because the train still leaves from südkreuz, it’s just at an earlier time. I’ve tried contacting and calling the people I booked through (SNCF) so many times to ask if my seat is still reserved for that earlier departure time but they’ve told me they can’t give me any information, this isn’t very helpful because on DB website the train is fully booked and you can only get on with reservation only.

I’m wondering if you guys can help me out, the tickets have increased to over 300 euro so cancelling and rebooking isn’t an option for me, the other option is booking a seat reservation for the ICE 279 which I can use to connect to the same 9590 in Frankfurt but I think I’m relying on nothing being delayed in that case. Thanks in advance.

this is not what the email says. it says it won’t stop at Südkreuz. you need to take another earlier train from Südkreuz to Frankfurt. Supposedly you can just show them your current ticket without buying another one
