Azerbaijan significantly reduced its crude oil exports to Croatia in the first four months of 2026, according to data from the State Customs Committee cited by Report.
Between January and April 2026, Azerbaijan exported 276,342.95 tonnes of crude oil to Croatia, worth 162.72 million US dollars. Compared to the same period in 2025, export volumes fell by 35.5%, while the value of shipments declined by 31.8%.
Despite the drop, crude oil exports to Croatia still accounted for 3.49% of Azerbaijan’s total oil export volumes during the reporting period.
Overall, Azerbaijan exported 7.92 million tonnes of crude oil and petroleum products derived from bituminous rocks in January–April 2026, with a total value of 4.37 billion US dollars.
During the same period, the country’s total foreign trade turnover reached 17.4 billion US dollars. Exports amounted to 11.88 billion US dollars, while imports stood at 5.53 billion US dollars.
