Located in Palm Beach, around 10 minutes from Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, the resort will serve as the team’s base for roughly two weeks during the group stage of the tournament.

Portugal is expected to arrive in the United States on 12 June ahead of its opening match against Congo on 17 June. The squad is scheduled to remain at the hotel until the conclusion of the group phase later that month.

The resort has built a reputation around understated luxury and guest privacy, with staff trained to handle high-profile visitors discreetly and architectural design intended to minimise exposure. Over the years, several celebrities and international athletes have reportedly stayed at the property, including members of the British royal family and Real Madrid players.

Originally opened in 1990, the hotel underwent a major renovation in 2018 before reopening the following year with redesigned rooms, updated public spaces and new dining concepts.

Today, the property includes 207 rooms and suites designed by Martin Brudnizki, featuring interiors inspired by Palm Beach’s mid-century coastal style.

Guests have access to a private beach, tropical gardens, two swimming pools, a luxury spa and several restaurants, including Florie’s, led by Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco.

Room prices during this period range from around €1,000 per night for standard accommodation to more than €8,000 for some of the resort’s larger suites.
