Should this go into Gelbe Tonne or Alte Papier? The packaging is plastic coated paper, they are fused/glued together, so one cannot separate them. If it’s Gelbe Tonne, why would they even put Papier on the logo, it’s confusing.

Remove the plastic part from the paper part. Each goes into its specific bin.
If you can’t separate them -> Gelbe Tonne
If you can separate them, then the paper part into the blue (in some regions green) and the plastic part into the yellow bin. If you can’t most likely into the yellow bin. Read on the website of the city or recycling company where to put what
Plastic bin. usually there was a paper Tray with the Tomatos inside. And that goes to the „Altpapier“
