We live in the golden age of (relatively) professional audio-video recordings made from ships. Never before have there been such good ways to make & share them.

And these possibilities are used more and more. The most well-known channel, where carefully curated artists’ live-recordings appear regularly (recently especially abundantly), is Seattle-headquartered KEXP, where Estonian bands Duo Ruut & Puuluup performed.

And there are actually a lot of such channels – from the USA, for example, Audiotree (I brought this one up because yles Night Tapes appeared there)… but the phenomenon is global.

I have been waiting for something similar to appear in Estonia for a long time… Our artists deserve such an outlet. It seems that there have been some initial attempts to get something like this going, but they didn’t get off the ground.

This newly uploaded Skoone ship is also the first of its kind on the Damn Loud Agency page. But since it’s been received remarkably well, not falling short of the global level (the band is also of course strong!), and DLA has the ability & motive to continue, so – I’m already waiting for the next one!

Instrumentaali pool on sel bändil paljulubav. Kuidagi peaks selle vokaali ka paremaks saama, et hääl oleks kõlavam ja selgem. Praegu kipub olema ära joodud hääle moodi vokaal.
