Is Wellington then tiny to them? It has less people than Vilnius despite being their capital (~440k if considering metro area). Auckland’s the only anomalous there (1.8M), next one after that is Christchurch (yes, that one) at 556k. Vilnius metro area, for comparison, is near 900k

Any positive PR is good PR for our country. Nitpickery over details that aren’t that big of a deal… well that is so lithuanian of us – we can’t just leave something alone, we always have to criticize and find something wrong with anything and everything.
