If you’re looking to get out of Busan for a weekend trip, here are some festivals worth adding to your calendar.
Gangneung Danoje Festival

One of Korea’s oldest traditional festivals, the Gangneung Danoje Festival has a history of more than 1,000 years and is recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage event.
