On the Pinnacle trail in Western NC there’s almost no frame of reference for elevation or the expansive views ahead until you leave the cover of the forest to this. It fills every bit of my soul.

I tried to take a trail like this recently on my jacked up souped up side-by-side with wide chrome wheels, a massive light bar, and a snorkel. I got a few miles down the trail, but it got narrow like this one and I was plowing through vegetation on each side. They should really have kept it up better IMO. I had to keep herding people off the trail so I could keep going. The worst was when someone that was missing a leg, he refused to get off the trail. Eventually they called the authorities and they were biased and made me leave instead of the one legged guy blocking the path. I had to back down like 3 miles and it fucking pissed me off.
