Anyone who likes eating meat should experience what goes into the production of meat at least once.

Who the duck is killing newborn male calves???? They’re still good for veal!

Weirdly the one the public like the least is the most defensible: cages for pigs in this instance is almost certainly farrowing cages and the survey definitely buried that this is done to prevent piglet crushing.

*To be clear some organisations and nations do oppose farrowing cages and for good reason* but it’s not a simple waste of a life as some of these are.

The obvious conclusion of this is that the hefty majority of UK adults *should* be going vegan, and are only not doing so because it’d be inconvenient/wouldn’t maximise taste pleasure. Most people already agree with us about the morals of farming sentient animals, they just haven’t exerted the will to put it into practice

Better survey would ask whether they would pay for meat at the cost required to implement these measures.

This reads like people don’t understand how there agriculture works. Which I know is true.
