Reminds of me of a WW2 anecdote, in 1940 or early 1941.
Molotov comes to Berlin to discuss with his then-friends. There is a British air raid during the talks, and they are led downstairs to a bunker. Ribbentrop resumes his talk about how the war against Britain is practically won, and Molotov asks “so what are we doing in this bunker?”

Which kinda speaks volumes of the sort of people who support Russia. I expect Steven Seagal will roll fatly in there too, especially if there’s a free buffet.
Their media keeps claiming that the drones were launched from the Baltic states, under the fake pretext that these countries are letting them fly through their airspace. They just can’t bring themselves to admit that drones are freely flying across their own country and their air defense is basically gone. Is this already «winning on all fronts» or what?
“long range sanctions” love this phrasing
